Stockport
Hurst’s transition to the fifth floor of Stockport’s new building No3 was not just a change of location but a strategic move to establish a workspace synonymous with excellence. Collaborating with Sheila Bird Studios, they embarked on a mission to infuse their new office with natural elements, striking a balance between aesthetics and functionality.
Our Urban Planters designers and service team took charge of executing this vision. Despite logistical constraints, effective coordination ensured a seamless installation process. The outcome? A workspace transformed by natural wood partitions adorned with greenery and strategically placed plants chosen for their air-purifying properties and contribution to well-being.
The verdict was unanimous: Hurst and their design team were delighted with the result. This green makeover not only met but exceeded expectations, setting a new benchmark for interior design in Stockport. The integration of nature into the workspace not only enhanced its visual appeal but also fostered a healthier and more productive environment for employees.
The success of Hurst’s green office makeover underscores the transformative power of biophilic design. By incorporating elements of nature into the built environment, businesses can create spaces that inspire creativity, promote well-being, and elevate the overall work experience.
As organisations increasingly recognise the importance of employee satisfaction and productivity, initiatives like Hurst’s green office makeover serve as a compelling example of how simple yet strategic changes can make a significant impact.
In an era where the line between work and life blurs, creating workspaces that prioritise both functionality and employee well-being is not just a trend but a necessity for long-term success.
