After two years of stagnation, a decisive move was made to infuse life into a sterile office and reception space. Sarah Winkworth, the project manager, took charge of the long-overdue task of introducing biophilia—the innate connection between humans and nature—into the workplace.

Leading the charge were Urban Planters experts, crafting a captivating moss wall with LED signage. As well as meticulously planted greenery throughout the office.
This endeavor transcended mere decoration; it embraced biophilic design principles, harnessing nature’s calming influence to enhance employee well-being and productivity.

By incorporating elements such as the moss wall and live plants, the once sterile environment was transformed into a vibrant oasis, fostering creativity and connection with the natural world.

Through the collaborative efforts of the team, the office’s revitalization serves as a testament to the transformative power of biophilic design, redefining the workspace as a sanctuary where people can be happier and healthier thanks to the power of plants.

“Thanks again for the brilliant job you and your team have done!”
Nick Hall Director, ACC Operations & Tewkesbury site General Manager.
